Stuart Roberts, Vice President, Executive Editor and Special Projects

Stuart Roberts is Vice President, Executive Editor and Special Projects at Simon & Schuster. He acquires a range of nonfiction, with a focus on taste-making artists, next-gen thought-leaders, popular culture, current events, contemporary history, and investigative journalism. In his additional Special Projects role, Stuart is engaging with business development and branding opportunities.

Stuart has published a range of notable bestsellers including Benny Blanco’s cookbook Open Wide, New York Nico’s New York Nico’s Guide to NYC, Gucci Mane’s memoir The Autobiography of Gucci Mane, Lana Del Rey’s debut collection of poetry Violet Bent Backwards Over the Grass, Logic's #1 New York Times Bestselling novel Supermarket, Michael McDonald’s memoir What A Fool Believes, and Tony Robbins’ #1 New York Times Bestseller Lifeforce.

Stuart started his career at Simon & Schuster in 2014 as assistant editor to the late Editorial Director Alice Mayhew, working with her roster of marquee authors including Bob Woodward, Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Doris Kearns Goodwin, President Jimmy Carter, and Walter Isaacson. He was raised in Kansas and is a graduate of the University of Kansas and the Columbia Publishing Course.
