Mia Robertson, Associate Editor

Mia Robertson joined Simon & Schuster in 2024 as Associate Editor after three years at Gallery Books. She is seeking narrative nonfiction in politics, history, science, and pop culture—books that illuminate the world through deeply personal stories, investigative rigor, or a fresh perspective, especially when it challenges conventional wisdom or delves into the intricacies of human experience with heart and humor. Mia is also looking for upmarket and commercial fiction with an eye toward dark satire, magical realism, speculative fiction, multi-generational/historical sagas, horror, and romance. She supports Sean Manning.

Before coming to publishing, Mia was a congressional staffer on Capitol Hill, first in the United States Senate and then the US House of Representatives. She has a master’s degree from Indiana University Bloomington and is from Jeffersonville, Indiana.
