Emily Farebrother, Associate Manager of Marketing

Emily joined Simon & Schuster in 2022, following positions at the Metropolitan Opera, Chicago Shakespeare Theater, and Milwaukee’s Skylight Music Theatre, where she assisted in marketing efforts for a wide range of productions and world premieres.

Emily oversees the Simon & Schuster imprint’s social media channels and maintains the Simon Books Buddy influencer program, spearheading communication with thousands of content creators on a consistent basis. Emily has taken on various marketing campaigns that included the USA Today bestseller Till Death Do Us Part by Laurie Elizabeth Flynn. Forthcoming campaigns in 2025 include Luminous by Silvia Park, The Fisherman’s Gift by Julia R. Kelly, and Aftertaste by Daria Lavelle.

A Midwest native, Emily is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin–La Crosse and holds degrees in Broadcast & Digital Media Communications and Theatre Performance.
