Emily Farebrother, Associate Manager of Marketing

Emily joined Simon & Schuster in 2022, following positions at the Metropolitan Opera, Chicago Shakespeare Theater, and Milwaukee’s Skylight Music Theatre, where she spearheaded marketing efforts for a wide range of productions and world premieres.

Emily oversees the Simon & Schuster imprint’s social media channels and maintains the Simon Books Buddy influencer program, spearheading communication with thousands of content creators on a consistent basis. Emily has taken on various marketing campaigns that included the USA Today bestseller Till Death Do Us Part by Laurie Elizabeth Flynn and CBS New York Book Club Pick Aftertaste by Daria Lavelle. Forthcoming campaigns in 2025 include The Ten Year Affair by Erin Somers, Cape Fever by Nadia Davids, and Watch Us Fall by Christina Kovac.

A Midwest native, Emily is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin–La Crosse and holds degrees in Broadcast & Digital Media Communications and Theatre Performance.
