Brittany Adames, Assistant Editor

Brittany Adames joined Simon & Schuster in 2020, after completing internships at Atria Books and W.W. Norton & Company. She graduated with a degree in writing, literature, and publishing from Emerson College and an MFA in poetry from Brooklyn College. She is seeking literary and upmarket fiction by women and authors of color exploring Latinidad, queerness, and class, as well as incisive nonfiction books from cultural tastemakers who have something new to reveal about the human condition. Brittany supports Vice President and Executive Editor Mindy Marqués Gonzalez and Senior Editor Olivia Taylor Smith.

Recent and forthcoming titles include Be the Bombshell by Rebecca Jennings and two untitled books from K-Ming Chang.
