Anna Hauser, Editorial Assistant

Anna joined Simon & Schuster in November of 2023. Originally from Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, Anna graduated from Wesleyan University and found her way into publishing through internships at The Friedrich Agency and n+1 magazine. She is drawn to darkly funny literary fiction that makes strange the facts of everyday life, unconventional works of historical fiction, powerful nature writing, and select narrative nonfiction and memoir.  

During her time at Simon & Schuster, Anna has worked on books by Chuck Palahniuk, Sergio de la Pava, M.L. Rio, Debbie Urbanski, Silvia Park, Daryl Gregory, Jon Hickey, and more. She assists VP/Executive Editor Carina Guiterman and VP/Publisher of Saga Press Tim O'Connell.
